Data stored on your device

MealIdeas does not require an account. Fridge ingredients, custom recipes, favourites, meal history, preferences and settings are stored locally on your device using the app’s storage. They are not synced to a MealIdeas server. Deleting the app may remove this local data.

In-app purchases

Premium features are offered as a one-time in-app purchase. Apple processes the payment; the developer does not receive your payment card details. RevenueCat verifies and restores Premium access. This check may send a pseudonymous app user ID and the transaction information needed for the service. Read Apple’s privacy policy and RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

Distribution and updates

The app is distributed by Apple and uses Expo Updates to deliver software updates. These services may receive technical information needed to distribute, secure and update the app.

Your choices and contact

You can remove local app data by deleting the app. You can clear local data in the app settings or by deleting the app. If you contact us from the app, it opens your email app; the message is sent to us only if you choose to send it.
